Perthshire Chamber of Commerce climb down to admit there are problems in the Perthshire area.

A WARNING about a “threat to the vitality” of Perth and Perthshire has been issued by Perthshire Chamber of Commerce.

Are the Perthshire Chamber of Commerce agreeing now with what this website has been pointing out to our visitors for the last year? During this time members have been vilified and excommunicated from the business community and the Chamber. Now it seems we were correct all along in our concerns.

Can you honestly trust your business with the Chamber of Commerce in Perthshire?

This is a question that you should consider very carefully before joining. Seems that they can't even look after their own affairs. The Courier reported a story on the Dundee Chamber going into liquidation due to debts blaming everyone but themselves. If it can happen to them it can happen here as the Perthshire Chamber of Commerce in our opinion is also vey badly organised and deep rooted in corruption and underhand practices. Why take the risk!

Is Chamber membership declining?

A well wisher e mailed us recently with the following information on chamber membership statistics. Check it our for yourself , we can't be bothered.

498 members on website data base. Lots have 2 enteries some have 4. 249 members approx.

That's about 100 down over 2 years. 350 counted in members list, last one I seen. Doh!

Poison pen writer from the Perthshire Chamber of Commerce exposed

Not only was the pizza delivery boy stupid enough to handwrite the envelope in which he sent the letter, but he made the mistake of bragging about it to the WRONG person. Compare his signature with the poison pen envelope. Further details>>>>>>>>.......

On the 10th May 2006- the Perthshire Chamber of Commerce Business Farce (FLOP) took place - plenty of opportunity to have a few drinks and behave badly with none of the normal business etiquette required. Further hard evidence of corruption at the Perthshire Chamber?

Early last year the Perthshire Chamber of Commerce asked several local companies to submit tenders for building their new website. Clearly the job was a done deal........

Respected Perthshire Chamber Member - Poison Pen Scandal

Our friend over at Perthshire Business received an abusive personal attack last week in the form of a poison pen letter. The writer went to great lengths to disguise himself but the style of typography and abuse of punctuation marks were a bit of a giveaway. Having gone to the trouble of typing the letter, the writer was then stupid enough to hand write the envelope - doh!!!

There is strong evidence that points to the author of this letter as being a member of the Perthshire Chamber of Commerce.

Opportunities to tender for chamber contracts and local contracts are only provided to the chosen few.
