Perthshire Chamber of Commerce Business Fair 2006
Still no report on the Chamber website about the business fair. Unusual that there is no chamber activity as they do normally whoop after the event. Biggest, Bestest Chamber Fair in the World Ever. Until next year.
A few photos appeared in the Toy Town news showing people with very red faces and the photos were closely cropped - no doubt to conceal the fact that there were no crowds there, just the poor suckers that paid for exhibition space. Can't wait to get our hands on the next chamber rag!
Perthshire Chamber of Commmerce Business Fair 2005
Every year the Perthshire Chamber of commerce hold a business fair in Perth. For 2005 it was held at the Dewar’s Centre. A quick after show survey shows that most businesses do not receive any business from this event what so ever - however the inner circle members enjoy a nice piss up together (not professional) in front of your potential clients. Perthshire Chamber of Commerce Quiz Night.
The April 2005 issue of the Chamber Magazine recently reported a quiz night which was held to raise money for Caring for Kids. There was a significant charge for members to attend this evening and yet with 14 teams of 4 people (at least 64 people present) the paltry sum of £151 was handed over to the charity. This amounts to just £2.36 per head, less than the cost of a gin and tonic!!!!! We wonder what happened to the rest of the money taken on the evening?
